It all started in the fall of 1999. A group of local residents met to discuss an exciting new venture. This group generated ideas and plans to build a golf course and RV park.

The ideas grew and blossomed and a company was formed on July 19, 2000.

Spring of 2001 saw the initial step taken, the purchase of the first quarter of land on June 15, 2001. Construction of Phase I of the RV park began in September 2001. Phase I consists of 91 lots, which were completed in the summer of 2002. On July 6, 2002, our first lot was sold to Mr. Del Dimmer.

In October 2002, another quarter section was purchased to further expand the project.

In 2003, we started construction of the first 9 holes of our championship 27-hole golf course, with completion the same year.

2004 saw us doing final touch-ups on the first 9 holes, and our temporary clubhouse was ordered. In the fall of that same year we started building the second phase of the RV Park.

2005 was a huge year for us as we finished construction of Phase II, selling over two-thirds of the lots before construction was completed. 2005 was a record year for lot sales. The temporary clubhouse was installed to receive golfers as we opened the golf course. We opened the first 9 holes to a fantastic response from locals and our lot owners, commenting on the degree of challenge, playability, and the fairness of the course.

2006 was an outstanding year, as we built the second 9 holes and completely sold out Phase I and II of the RV Park. Rounds played in 2006 almost tripled over the previous year, thanks to the quality of the course. This second nine, as promised, is a level up from the first nine, featuring water hazards, large greens, and wide, undulating fairways.

2007 was an exceptional year. Rounds played were up significantly, and the Coyote Nine was completed. Phase III of the RV park started to take shape, and sales of the lots were amazing.

The Coyote Nine officially opened for play on May 17th, 2008 to our members and the public. The much-anticipated wait did not disappoint, and golfers are now enjoying 18 championship holes. Our tournament facility is complete and able to host large events at Coyote Creek.

Coyote Creek Golf & RV Resort is flourishing! We are now 18 holes, with state-of-the-art practice facilities. This property is rapidly growing in popularity and prestige.

Our immediate attention has been turned to completing the third and FINAL phase of the RV Park. This phase will feature a wide variety of lots with sizes ranging from 3,000 sq ft to over 7,000 sq ft. The entrance will be between the #3 Green and the #4 Tee Deck of the Deer Nine. This phase will be fully serviced with 50 amp power, water, sewer, telephone and include a laundry and shower house, as well as a store.

Phase III is currently selling the first 78 of 128 lots. These lots are selling fast, as they are the last to be built here at Coyote Creek. The completion of this phase will see the additional 50 lots completed, as well as 40 rental sites that are now available for overnight accommodation.

Future developments include a new clubhouse as well as the final nine holes of the golf course, the Creek Nine.

Please follow our progress and watch us grow!
